We’re ecstatic right now, seriously! We just found out we’ve been nominated for Best Short Film and Best Death Scene at the Indy Horror Film Festival!! What a tremendous honor!!

In two and a half hours, Written By will be screening “down under” and we’re freaking psyched!! A Night of Horror is having a tremendous year and we’re hearing nothing but great things coming from Dendy Newtown. Dendy Newtown, we like the way that rolls off the tongue. Kinda like Austraaarlyan. Okay, that was a terrible fake Aussie accent. Dude.. what?

In other news, in case you didn’t know why they call it “Down under” . . . This phrase reflects how Australia appears, from a northern Hemisphere perspective, and on a globe. Australia is the only continent with a permanent population that is entirely below the equator. So, from an Australian point of view, it seems as if the northern hemisphere continents are ‘ down under.’ Or so we’re told.

In any event, if you’re down under, you should go because nothing says Monday night like popcorn and Goobers. (They do have Goobers, right?)
